''Peringia ulvae'', also known as ''Peringia ulvae'',〔 common name the Laver spire shell or mudsnail, is an European species of very small aquatic snail with gills and an operculum, a gastropod mollusk in the family Hydrobiidae.〔 Gofas, S.
